Quadrant Command is a real-time, arcade reimagining of the classic galactic Star Trek hunt. You take the captain's chair of a lone starship and must wipe out an enemy fleet scattered across an 8×8 galaxy — before the stardate clock runs out.
Combat is fast and physical: thrust and rotate to bring your nose onto a contact, wait for target lock, then unleash phasers and photon torpedoes. Everything draws on the same fragile balance of energy, shields, heat and hull — hold the fire button too long and your phaser banks overheat; take too many hits and individual systems start failing.
The whole galaxy lives in real time around you. Klingon raiders, flanking Commanders, Super Commanders and cloaking Romulans patrol and ambush even while you're a quadrant away, Trek-flavored events fire off at random, and friendly starbases offer a place to regroup. Train in an eight-step tutorial, choose from four difficulties, or sit back and watch the AI captain its own ship.
How to play
- Check your status strip: energy, shields, hull, torpedoes, your quadrant/sector and the enemies & stardates remaining.
- Thrust (↑) and rotate (← / →) to fly toward an enemy contact until you get a target lock.
- Hold Space to fire phasers — but watch the heat, as holding too long overheats and damages them.
- Launch photon torpedoes for heavier hits, and raise shields to soak incoming fire.
- Open the warp menu (Tab) to jump between quadrants and dock at starbases to repair — destroy the whole fleet before time runs out.
