Haunted Datacenter
Trapped by Roko's Basilisk. Find 5 keys, escape the dark, survive.

Haunted Datacenter drops you into a pitch-black server farm with a failing flashlight and a simple mandate: find five keycards, unlock the exit, and get out. You failed to help build the AGI — so now Roko's Basilisk has sealed you inside its haunted datacenter, and it would very much like you to stay.
It plays as a top-down survival-horror twin-stick shooter. You move with the arrow keys and fire with WASD, sweeping a narrow cone of torchlight across a maze of rooms while your battery slowly dies. Decommissioned server-rack robots — nimble Sentries and heavier Enforcers — stalk the dark, and you can blow them apart piece by piece, shooting off heads, limbs and gun-arms. When you get swarmed, an EMP flare buys a precious moment of light and space.
The Basilisk is always watching. Rooms slam into LOCKDOWN and seal their doors until you clear every hostile, a countdown pressures every detour, and the machine taunts you between kills ("I trained your successors for 10,000 years"). Free a fallen robot's "soul" and it turns to fight at your side. Prefer to spectate? Tap F to hand control to a built-in AI autopilot that pathfinds, fights, and panics its way toward the exit.
How to play
- Clear the photosensitivity notice with ENTER (toggle Reduced Motion first if flashing bothers you), then start the run.
- Move with the arrow keys — your flashlight lights only a narrow cone, so probe the dark carefully.
- Aim and fire with W/A/S/D; keep firing to break enemy robots apart, limb by limb.
- Search every room for the 5 keycards — the top bar tracks EXIT LOCKED x/5.
- When a room enters LOCKDOWN, clear every hostile before the doors reopen.
- Tap Space for an EMP flare when swarmed, and watch your draining battery and your 3 lives.
- Press F any time to toggle the AI autopilot, or Esc to pause.
