Slop Factory
A game about filling the internet. Everyone is content.

Slop Factory is a satirical idle-tycoon about the content economy. You run an AI content farm, and your whole job is one dial: Quality. Hold it high and the internet stays readable but nobody clicks; let it collapse and engagement soars while your models quietly begin training on their own sewage. Every listicle you publish makes the next one worse — a tragedy of the commons where you are both the polluter and the drinker.
Buy interns, prompt farms, GPU clusters and eventually a Dyson Sphere; expand into recipe blogs, kids' videos, news and academic papers; then decide, over and over, how much of the future to borrow for one more burst of growth. It is deadpan corporate SaaS on the surface and quietly unhinged underneath — the dashboard itself rots into garish clickbait as your Quality falls, and recovers when you clean it up.
Exit through one of five endings — pivot, get acquired by a genius who insists it's 4D chess, become training data, be lovingly dissolved, or close the loop forever. There's an original AI-generated soundtrack, a handful of unforgettable story arcs to stumble into, and, eventually, an answer to why the galaxy is so quiet. No downloads, no account, no shame.
How to play
- Click "Write Something" to make your first slop, then buy an Intern to automate it.
- Spend Engagement on bigger generators and unlock new feeds as you publish more.
- Watch the Quality bar and its target marker — the Editorial dial pushes it up (careful) or down (engagement-maximized).
- Rotate what you publish where as feeds saturate; run the Refinery to keep your corpus alive.
- Choose an exit when one opens, bank Founder Cred, buy perks, and start a sharper company.
