ROT3 is a deceptively simple grid puzzle where every piece is racing against the clock. Colored orbs arrive in a preview queue; you drop the current orb onto any empty cell, and a fresh one slides in to take its place. The catch: the moment an orb lands it starts to age, and the number stamped on it ticks up with every move you make.
The challenge is to herd three or more matching colors together to clear them for points before the board fills up — all while juggling a limited move budget and an ever-deepening level curve. It's a constant negotiation between grabbing an easy match now and setting up a bigger combo later.
A built-in AI advisor can suggest a move when you're stuck, and full Undo lets you walk back a misstep, so the difficulty lives in the strategy rather than in fat-fingered mistakes.
How to play
- The large orb at the bottom of the side panel is your current piece; the column above it is the upcoming queue.
- Click any empty cell on the board to place the current orb there.
- Group three or more orbs of the same color to clear them and score.
- Every orb shows its age, which rises each move — clear colors before the board clogs up.
- Tap the AI button for a hint, or Undo to take back your last move.
